WHO ARE WE?

We are an educational platform that uses social media to launch campaigns in an attempt to help reduce both personal waste and spread awareness on the waste pandemic.

WHAT DO WE DO?

We use Instagram and YouTube to launch social media campaigns on different educational topics, as well as 30 day challenges to help people assess and reduce their waste.

WHY SUPPORT US?

The waste movement is growing and we are having a huge impact. Together we can empower consumers to change their habits, fight for a cleaner planet and put pressure on those who can effect real change.

Letโ€™s do an exercise that releases any guilt weโ€™re feeling over any โ€˜failsโ€™ that have happened this week. I feel like this is a great way to let go of guilt and move forward in a more positive way to build a better more sustainable future together. . Iโ€™m a low waster BUT...this week I was overwhelmed with work and was very stressed and so wanted an easy meal and bought some Linda Mcartney vegan meatballs in plastic packaging. . Iโ€™m not perfect, no one is but we all try and thatโ€™s the point!! Share with us your low waste fails! Itโ€™s surprisingly satisfying and allows us to leave that guilt behind and move on ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’š๐ŸŽ‰
I think we have been fangirling on @_wastelandrebel_ the entire time we've been on instagram. Not only does Shia promote EVERYTHING that we love, but she does it in a way that simply leads by example and allows us to make whatever changes are possible for our situations. We thought we'd share this pic from Shia today to show you what an unpackaged grocery haul could look like if we were all given the same access to these foods. ACCESS is one of the biggest issues we as consumers are facing - and we must push harder to force our governments to allow us to shop sustainably through policy changes and higher taxes on companies that produce virgin plastic single use items - or be responsible for the reusing or recycling of these items. Weโ€™re already starting to think about the #lowimpact30 challenge coming at you in May !! We think itโ€™s such an important challenge and a great way to really assess your own habits and the way we all waste. Without this analysis itโ€™s super hard to know how to move forward.
